Jay
has been teaching SCUBA at various local dive shops and privately since
1989. He is a PADI Master SCUBA Diver trainer and an SSI Dive Control
Specialist Instructor. He was introduced to SCUBA diving in the 1980's by
his uncle Dave Knibbs, an avid wreck diver and artifact hunter. Ever since then
diving has been a way of life for him.
In addition to New England diving, Jay enjoys traveling to warm water
destinations with friends and family, especially to Nassau in the
Bahamas. Jay lives in Southington with his wife Susan, daughter Olivia,
and Father in-law Gerald who was instrumental in the success of the
shop.
Susan
is the office manager and travel consultant. Her corporate financial and
management experience keep the shop running like a well oiled
machine. Whether you are looking for a group trip or solo travel, Susan
will help you find just what you are looking for.
Dennis Erk

Chances
are, if you visited the shop you've met our Manager Dennis. He is happy to
help you with gear sales and service, fill tanks, or sign you up for
classes. Dennis is also an Aeris certified repair technician and a PSI
certified cylinder inspector.
Olivia Stephenson
Jr. Advanced Open Water Diver
Even
though she's only 16, Olivia is quickly becoming an asset to the dive
shop. She is a certified Jr, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and enjoys helping out around
the shop and in classes demonstrating skills to new students. She has
experience in night diving, cavern diving, cold water diving, deep diving, and loves to dive
in New England as well as the Caribbean.
